Engineering News Record (ENR) has unveiled its Top 500 U.S. Design Firms 2024 list and for the first time has included Egis in the U.S.
The firm has achieved a rank of 146 for U.S. Design Firms, following the firm’s acquisition of McIntosh Perry and Beam, Longest and Neff in 2023. Egis in the U.S. has also achieved a ranking on Top 50 Designers in the International Market, thanks to the revenue generated internationally.
“We’re proud to have achieved this key milestone in our growth journey,” says Tom Longest, President and COO, Egis in the U.S. “We have a long history in the U.S., and we are proud to have vaulted over our competitors to move up the Top 500.”
“North America as a key region for Egis' expansion,” says Gus Sarrouh, CEO, Egis in North America. “This ranking is a promising starting point to becoming a major local player in the U.S. market.”
Egis in the U.S. is making the most of the unprecedented federal investment plan to rebuild America's infrastructure. This $2 trillion plan aims to revitalize U.S. roads, bridges, public transit, railways, airports, and ports. Egis' high added value offer in the U.S. relies strongly on both infrastructure services – mostly in roads, bridges, water and rail, and on the advisory practice:
- In rail, Egis secured its second contract with California High Speed Rail, a strong testimony to client trust after a first success in 2022. Egis is proud to support the development of a state-of-the-art High-Speed Rail network, connecting cities and communities across California.
- In road and bridges, Egis secured a number of new projects on the firm’s traditional markets in Indiana, Michigan, Colorado and West Virginia, and also in new states as Kentucky and Tennessee. Egis enjoys an 85% rate on returning business, demonstrating the high quality of services rendered to U.S. infrastructure clients.
- 2023 was also a very strong year for the Egis in the U.S. advisory practice, as the firm signed several program design and management projects across the country.
